Here's what you need to do to ensure a successful, fun, and meaningful virtual race day!
1. Print your race bib!
Print your race bib, write your name and the city you are running in, and pin it to your t-shirt on race day.
Race bib dimensions for printing purposes: 7.5in x 6in
2. Choose WHO you are running for.
This year we are running for those in our community who are at risk, who are vulnerable. We are running for THEIR lives. Prevention is the key to ending human trafficking and YOU can play a part in that. WHO are you running/walking for today? Think of someone personal to you. Write their name on your arm.
You can visit our BLOG for more information about why we are running to prevent human trafficking this year.
Don't forget to post pictures and videos using #R4TLKnoxville or tag @freedom424 after your 5k!
3. Download a tracking app to submit your results!
After you run, you will be able to submit your results. Before race day, read these steps to learn how to track and submit your results!
4. Celebrate with us at West Park Baptist Church
Join us at West Park Baptist Church on Friday night, January 29th from 5:00pm-7:30pm or Saturday morning, January 30th, from 9:00am-11:00am before or after you run your virtual race to pick up your race day bag, with t-shirt and medal, take a picture with your running/walking team, enjoy some breakfast, coffee, and snacks, and interact with our community sponsors and representatives from Freedom 4/24 and Street Hope, TN to learn more about preventing human trafficking in your community! Even though we will be running/walking this 5k all across the city of Knoxville, we want to see you, thank you, and celebrate you!
